IGM CEO and Chairman of the Board Visited OSiC

On March 13, 2024 (Wednesday), Mr John Huiberts (Chairman of the Board) and Mr Boudewijn Morelissen (the new CEO of IGM Group), as well as Mr Wilson Gu (Global Executive Vice President & Asia Pacific President) visited the Jiangsu factory of OSiC Group for a tour and exchanged in-depth views on the cooperation of the two parties in coatings. Mr. Zhang Haoming (Chairman of OSiC Group), together with Mr. Long Wei (Sales Director of the project team), Mr. Guo Yi (Production Director), and Mrs. Wang Qian (Director of General Management office) warmly received and had in-depth exchanges with their arrival.
The guests visited the intelligent workshops, research institutes, technology centers, etc. of OSiC Jiangsu factory first. Taking a break in the picturesque courtyard, the design layout and elegant and tidy environment of the "Garden Factory" left a deep impression on them.
Then they visited Jiangsu Hanngene Biotech Co., Ltd., a new factory under construction by the OSiC group, located in the Yangtze River International Chemical Industry Park in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, covering an area of 58.3 acre, with a total investment of 400 million RMB and a designed production capacity of 27,000 tons/year. After completion, it will become a super factory in agriculture and animal husbandry and food additives industry, with strong supply chain integration and sustainable development ability.
Subsequently, the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges on the technical co-operation of coating additives project. Since the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement in 2022, the project has been carried out very smoothly with the joint efforts of both teams over the past two years. Both sides reached a consensus on the huge development potential and bright prospects of the Chinese market, and highly affirmed the results of the past and current cooperation between the two sides, and were full of confidence in a more in-depth cooperation between the two sides in the future.
In the current international situation, the increasingly close co-operation between China and Europe will be the general trend. In response to the development of the times, the technological cooperation between IGM and OSiC will become more profound, close, sincere, and trustworthy. With strong cooperation between the two sides, we will surely achieve impressive performance and brilliant prospects in the coating industry.
